Craft is the new couture.
For its ninth anniversary, the Philippine Fashion Summit turns the spotlight to the weavers, embroiderers, pattern-cutters and dreamers who make Filipino fashion unmistakable. This season’s theme, Filipino Craftsmanship Redefining Global Style, is a statement of intent: what is made by hand here belongs on every runway there.
15 houses, from Manila ateliers to the highlands of Benguet and guests from Vietnam, walk 16 runway segments at The Podium Hall. Heritage textiles are cut into silhouettes built for the world, and the whole evening is carried live to the nation.
